    Sembol Giyim was founded in 1969 by Karnik Suna in a store with an area of 150 square meters in Sultanhamam.

    Offering 40% of its production to abroad and 60% to the domestic consumers through its dealers, Sembol Giyim offers service in Germany, Australia, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Chechnya, Dagestan, Morocco, France, Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Canada, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and throughout Turkey.

    1940

    Karnik Suna who is founder of “Sembol Clothing Co.” was born in Sarıkaya, Yozgat. He was only able to finish primary school in that day’s conditions. After that, took his first steps into tailoring as an apprentice next to a male tailor.

    1963

    After successfully completing the “Istanbul Tailoring Development Institute”, he reinforced the development of technical knowledge in the professional field.

    1969

    Sembol Giyim was opened by Karnik Suna with its first store of 150 square meters in “Sultanhamam”.

    1985

    Sembol Giyim has started to produce its high quality products and started providing high speed service to the most established brands of Germany and then to Holland, France, Austria and America.

    1991

    Karnik Suna established “Sembol Clothing Production Factory in Kurtuluş, which has a multi productive area of ​​1500 square meters in order to greet the rapidly increasing customer demands.
    The factory started to produce all women apparel such as: coat, jacket, suit, dress, blouse, trousers and 50.000 pieces of products were produced in different design groups.

    1996

    Karnik Suna’s daughter: Rita Suna, who successfully combined the global trade principals with her education, took part in the management by joining the team.

    2000

    Sembol Giyim, which brings 40% of its production international and 60% of its products through local dealers, is doing its exportation to Germany, Austria, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Chechnya, Dagestan, Morocco, France, Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Canada, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and more…
